Irina (1137121) wrote to me nearly every day. Her letters were romantic and she maintained she had a deep interest in me. She told me how several of my letters were the most special and precious things she had ever received. She constantly referred to me as darling, dear, honey, etc.
We exchanged 62 letters over a period of three months. I suggested we talk on the phone or videochat before I came to visit her and in her letter dated May 1st she said that was not a good idea. About phone calls she said, “As for translated phones, well, I think there is no reason to take them. Anyway you don’t understand the person you are talking to as good as it should be. It’s just wasting of time and money without any use.” As it turns out she speaks English and so none of this statement makes sense unless she was trying to avoid speaking to me and give herself away that she was not serious. She said because of her schedule she could not video chat.
I offered to visit her and she agreed and said she was excited for it to happen. She confirmed the dates of my visit but on the day I arrived she told me we could not meet that day because she had to take her son to therapy (she did not say why she could not have told me that much earlier or even in the Anastasia letter I received “from her” that same day). She sent me text messages and did not call me to talk.
The next day we met but it was apparent very early that she was uncomfortable and wished she wasn’t there with me. We spent a couple of hours together then she told me she was busy that night and, moreover, the next day she said she had to go to the church for an event with her goddaughter. After church they were going on a picnic. I asked if I would be able to see her at all that day. She said she wasn’t sure. The next day I sent her 3 or 4 text messages but she neither responded nor called me to tell me what was going on. My last text message offered to stay a few more days with her so we could meet rather than me going to Crimea as I had planned. On Monday she sent me a text message back saying her phone didn’t have any money the day before so that is why she didn’t call me (she did not say why she couldn’t borrow a phone from someone for at least a quick text message since she knew I was waiting for her) and said I should go to Crimea and we could only be friends.
A few hours later I received a letter from “her” on Anastasia still calling me darling, saying how special our time was together and how badly she wanted to see me again. I texted Irina and this time she responded promptly. I had sent a copy of the letter to an email account I had set up for her access. I asked her to look at it and tell me if she had seen the letter. She texted back that the letter was a “mistake” by the agency and was actually a letter from another girl to another man. She did not explain how both my name and her name got on it, how it got sent to me, how this “other man” conveniently was visiting the same days as I was, and flying out the same day as she thought I was, how the letter was written in the format of all of her other letters to me (darling…., warmest hugs and kisses, etc.). In a letter dated July 2nd, however, she said the letter was “a misunderstanding” between her and her translator.
Nor could she answer why, if she had been divorced for one year (which is what she told me when we met) there were a few inconsistencies. In her letter dated April 8th she said she had never been a model. She said the pictures were from 1-1/2 years ago and it was a two day session before “joining this site”. If this was true then she had this photo shoot 6 months before she was divorced and for some reason she did not join the site until a year-and-a-half later (since her profile number is new). She also said in a previous letter that she had a bitter divorce and they were still not even friends. Photographs I took, however, clearly show her wearing a wedding ring (Ukrainian's wear their wedding rings on their right hand).
Anastasia’s Agency #1006213 is a sham. Irina #1137121 is a sham. She is a married model listed on Anastasia for the sole purpose of generating letters from men. Anastasia interpreters write letters for her, she posts suggestive pictures and videos on that site and claims she is interested in 60 year old men. She undoubtedly receives a kickback for her services.
Julia (1135717) says in this letter she is an only child. But, in her video she talks about her sister. I doubt that Julia is confused about whether or not she has a sister and so I am assuming (once again) an interpreter from an agency is making up letters for her. (Agency 1006961)

I talked to Vera (#1097882) on the phone through an Anastasia phone call ($25) and told her what day I would meet her (Monday June  . I asked her if that day was OK. She said she finished work at 5:00 and it was fine. I asked if her interpreter’s phone number was the same as the last time I tried to visit her (see below). She said no her interpreter had changed her number. I asked for the new number. Vera said she was changing interpreters and so it would be a waste to give it to me. I asked for her own phone number and she gave it to me. I told her I would text her a few days before I arrived and she could text me her interpreter’s phone number and give my number to her interpreter.
On May 28 I wrote to her asking if I could see her on both Monday and Tuesday. On June 2 she confirmed she got this information, asked for my exact travel itinerary (she said she wanted to confirm that I was really coming) and said that she knew I would be texting her when I arrived in Kiev. On June 2 I sent my Ukrainian phone number to her in a letter and by text message to her phone. I also provided my apartment address in the letter.
On June 4th when I arrived I texted her asking for her interpreter’s phone number. Over the next two days I texted her the same question 3 more times. I received no response from her. I then received a letter from her stating she could not meet until Wednesday (the day I was scheduled to fly out from Kharkov). This is the same thing that happened last time I tried to visit her. Once she confirmed what day I was leaving that suddenly became the day she was available to meet me. I called the apartment manager to cancel the apartment. He told me a lady had called about my apartment reservation and wanted to know what days I was staying and what day I was checking out. Agency 1004523
Last time I tried to visit her I arrived on a Monday. I also talked with her that day on the phone. She said we could meet on Wednesday but she only talked to me 3 minutes on Anastasia’s phone call ($40) which requires me to pay for 10 minutes regardless of how long the conversation lasts. I told her Wednesday would be fine. I asked for her interpreter’s phone number and gave her my phone number. I tried calling her interpreter on Monday and Tuesday with no answer. On Tuesday I received a letter through Anastasia saying she was busy with work so maybe we could get together next week. Agency 1003244
Vera and her agency are a sham.
I have now been to the Ukraine 5 times and have been stood up by several Anastasia women. I have talked to apartment owners and interpreters about this issue and apparently it is fairly common. Suddenly, just before a visit the women become indisposed (Ellina ID #1111885 - I arrived in Odessa and received a letter saying she had a serious heart condition and could not meet. Two months later after many more letters I said I was coming again and she said she still could not meet me because of her heart condition though she still was able to work and go to the agency to answer my letters. Julia #1099519 had “appendicitis” 7 days before I arrived….Agency 1005145) I arrived in Sevastapol on Monday as I agreed with Anastasia (ID##1126277). I had provided my Ukrainian phone # to her in a letter sent the day before and read by her that day (Monday). She did not respond and so I sent another letter on Wednesday which she read on Thursday also saying call me and leaving my phone #. No call.
